Description
This may just be the biggest glacial erratic boulder in all of central Massachusetts. I'd guess it's probably 30' x 60' x 25', loaded with bouldering routes of practically all difficulties. There is potential for around 30 boulder problems on this pebble alone ranging from V0 to a variety of options in the double digits.
Make sure to get on classics Killing of a Giant, V3; Nosebleed, V2; Nightcall, V2; David & Goliath, V4; Hikikomori, V5, The Goliath V9, and Size Doesn’t Matter V10
Getting There
Use the single track trail that heads south from the trailhead. The trail quickly dumps onto a large cut through the woods. Follow the path of destruction for a total of ~6 minutes where the trail curves sharply to the right and up a steep hill. Stay left on a small single track trail and follow this trail for another ~4 minutes passing by Cracked Boulder on the right, Extraterrestrial Rock on the left, until you see the pond and a massive boulder just prior. Can't miss it.
