Description
Down the hill from the Painted Wall and boxed in by the NET to the east, Jerusalem Rd on the west and a faint, blue blazed spur trail to the north are various boulders and sections of ledge under and around the Second Overlook (off the NET). Most, or all, of the possible climbs in these areas have likely been done, but not everything has been added to Mountain Project. A sense of adventure and a wire brush might uncover a long lost classic. These areas are all best approached from Jerusalem road by either finding the hard to follow spur trail, or walking the road and looking for rock and cutting straight up to it.
Getting There
Pay and park at the Wendell State Forest lot, or drive down Jerusalem Rd. (good dirt road) until you reach the Painted Wall and a small pull off across from it with a few spots. Driving down the hill to the junction with the NET also has a couple places to park and is a good turn around spot. Beyond that parking along the road and/or turning around becomes much more difficult. From there, walk down Jerusalem Rd. past the NET trail turnoff, and look for boulders up in the wood to your right.
