Description

Badger Rock is a short but aesthetic puddingstone boulder - it is slightly overhung, and the trailside face vaguely resembles a badger's head in shape. The main face includes many distinct features and some quality, albeit somewhat contrived, lines.

Getting There

Approaching from Glen Road, walk up the main path about 200 feet, then turn right. The boulder is about 20 feet off trail on your left, about 100 feet after making the right hand turn. It is located behind a thicket of Japanese knot-weed and may be difficult to see until the afternoon sun hits it.
