Description
Franklin Park is the biggest park in the city of Boston and home to the Franklin Park Zoo. Within the park, you will find a handful of small boulders and low-angle slabs. Most of the rock here is puddingstone and can be easily spotted when there are no leaves on the trees. There don't seem to be any climbs worth travelling to from far away, but if you're in Boston or the area south, this can entertain you for an afternoon.
Getting There
The park is accessible via public transit and has plenty of parking. There are plenty of people who are in biking or walking distance as well.
A note on navigation within the park and adding new areas - please make sure to verify the exact GPS coordinates when posting new areas and climbs in the park, as the number of small unmarked paths and parking areas makes accurately describing the approaches to some climbs in the park very difficult (it is often easier to rely on GPS navigation using a mobile device).
