Description Suggest change

This is a smooth, dark brown pillar capped by a lighter colored rock with a solitary route up it's west face.

Getting There Suggest change

Park at the western end of the campground loop and hike north approximately 50 meters to the pillar; a portion of the approach is along the signed nature trail.

Hike slightly past the pillar then leave the trail and scramble up right-slanting slabs to reach the base.

  • Approach time is 10-15 minutes from the parking lot for the Nature Trail.
