Description
Southeast Oklahoma contains lots of sandstone, typically bouldering height. Aside from a couple publicly accessible established areas, there is lots more potential (mostly bouldering) but the majority of it lies on private land. We can only hope that down the road, more access options for climbers open up the region for more climbing.
The most well known area in this region is Robbers Cave State Park. There is quite a bit of trad and toprope climbing in the main cave area, as well as bouldering in other areas throughout the park.
