Getting There
Of all the horrible, arduous approaches to the various bouldering sub-areas, this has to be the worst ! The exposure to "tourister ignoramus" as you walk the 100 yds from the parking lot towards and past the covered bridge and low-angle slab to the easy path that starts on your right about 25-50 ft in on the gravel fire road ("long" before the gate) can be quite an experience.
Assuming you've survived, continue up the path (which climbs along to top of the now-steeper slab, and may not be suitable if small children are along) for about 100-150 ft and enter into the "Slab Area" past a really unique-looking boulder. (see photo, and map)
