Description

Close to the car.. From South Shore Beach Walk the train tracks north. This is the first open talus field you come to. So far there are some cool climbs here.
The Balanced Rock Trail will follow you up the hill just to the east about a 100-200 feet away.

Getting There

Very short approach to the first boulder, then you head up hill, you could keep going to upper areas if you wanted such as Horse Ramparts or Black Rhino, which are more or less straight up the hill and slightly north.
