Description

At the top of the Balanced Rock trail, the short cliffline to the east (climber's right) and a boulder just below.

Getting There

Hike up Balanced Rock trail, to the top. At the rocky platform just below the East Bluff trail, contour on the social trail to the east. Where the social trail peters out and it is easy to descend into the talus, head down to Bulbous. (It is also possible to drop in directly from the East Bluff trail, if you recognize the right spot.)
