Description

Pronounced "Goombi', not Gumbi, in case you are asking for directions. The crag is sunny starting in the early afternoon, and dries out quickly after a rain. Over 40 routes, with the central section slightly overhung and mostly containing routes in the 6+/7- range. The left and right-most sections of the crag are slabby with easier routes. The sector is fully visible from the parking lot.

Getting There

Follow directions for Valle del Vero. From the ticket office, walk about 10 min on the red/yellow marked trail called Sentiero dele Terre Alte. until reaching the junction with signs for various crags. The left side of I Gumbi crag lies very close to the junction. Follow the ramp uphill and right to reach the central part of I Gumbi. All route names are written on the rock in very visible green-colored signs.
