Description
Comprising of Wise and Scott Counties, this is a huge section of land with a huge amount if rock. Flag Rock Park, The Labyrinth, and tons of other amazing boulders and a few routes can be found here.
Getting There
Several options for accessing the Western sections of the HKL:
- HWY 58 along Coeburn, Tacoma and Norton.
- State Route 72 from Coeburn to Dungannon.
- High Knob Road will get you to Flag Rock, Labyrinth and much of the awesome boulderfield in HKL East.
- High Knob Road also allows access to deeper back country locations by the maze of forest roads throughout the HKL.
