Description
This area is full of easy and moderate cracks in a slabby wall. A great place to practice jamming, although the crystalline granite makes for a somewhat painful jam.
Getting There
From the approach trail from the camping area in Kalle, break right (west), taking a rock ramp and trails such that you pass Main Cliff on your left. From here, the trails get a little confusing. When the trail starts to become less clearly defined, start to look down. There is a downclimb (~12 feet) next to a series of perhaps 5 large boulder that are wedged/suspended over a gully. The down climb is easy, but can be wet and a little slick. Once you have descended into the gully, take the gully down for another 100 feet or so, and reconnect with a trail heading up and right. From here, the going is easier across benches and boulders. Dammen is a clean wall broken up with cracks on your right, which has a small pool of water at the base.
