Description
This area is composed of all climbing and crags including and surrounding Big Sky. There are numerous areas to climb and boulder in this area and crags are on both sides of the river. Most climbing described here will be found between Red Cliff Campground and south of the bridge to Bozeman.
The climbing found in this area is as varied as its quality. Not as solid as other areas, the rock here is still acceptable by most standards. Bouldering, sport climbing, and epic alpine climbing can be found here, see individual areas for more detailed descriptions.
