Description
Not a very big boulder area, but a great day trip very close to Big Sky. Some problems have been done, while others remain projects, and there are a handful of possibilities waiting to be cleaned. Pretty good shade for most of the day. Late afternoon sun in some areas.
Getting There
Coming from Bozeman this area is on the left just a little further past the Lava Lake and Cascade Creek pull off. The pull off is in between mile 59 and mile 60. Park in the pull-off and walk back into the woods. There is one true roadside boulder, and the rest are a couple hundred feet back up on the hill.
