Please do not litter and observe all regulations. We had to fight to regain access at one time, and we don't want to lose the privilege again. Local ethics and refuge regulations are that no bolting is permitted unless expressly authorized by the park. Leave the hammer and nails at home, no fixed gear please. Everything will go clean.

Description

A small freestanding boulder hosting a variety of slabby warmup problems. The short approach, good landing, and low difficulty make this a great choice for someone climbing outside for the first time.

Because of the angle and rock texture, some of the climbs may actually feel easier barefoot than with modern climbing shoes.

Getting There

Follow the directions for the Steak Dinner boulder. This boulder is just a few feet away from the left side of the trail as you approach Steak Dinner.
