Kanakapura and vicinity Rock Climbing

The town of Kanakapura itself is less than an hour drive south from the southern parts of Bangalore. Raogodlu is about halfway between NICE Road and Kanakapura, along the Kanakapura Highway. Getting to BM Betta from Bangalore typically requires taking the highway south to Kanakapura then turning right onto the road to Ramanagara. Raogodlu may be relatively easily accessed by buses to Kanakapura (plus a less than half-hour walk from Yadamadu, where you'd get off the bus). BM Betta is more remote, and requires a car, preferably a high-clearance vehicle (or an extra 20-minute walk).
