Description

Located closer to Sweden than Denmark, this island offers the best climbing in the Baltic Sea. There are no large multi-pitch routes, but with around 900 boulders, sport and trad routes there is enough to keep you busy.
The rock is a beautiful golden granite. Climbing takes place on sea cliffs (trad) or quarries (sport), while bouldering can be done anywhere you find a boulder - there are plenty.

Getting There

Though it is a relatively small island and it could be done by bike, it's best to get around here with a car, and you're most likely to arrive with a ferry. Follow this link to plan your arrival via ferry: faergen.com/routes/bornholm…
