Description Suggest change

Located closer to Sweden than Denmark, this island offers the best climbing in the Baltic Sea. There are no large multi-pitch routes, but with around 900 boulders, sport and trad routes there is enough to keep you busy.

The rock is a beautiful golden granite. Climbing takes place on sea cliffs (trad) or quarries (sport), while bouldering can be done anywhere you find a boulder - there are plenty. See https://vimeo.com/123216239

The island is beautiful, with many quaint villages and excellent hiking and biking - a great spot for a family vacation!

Getting There Suggest change

You're most likely to arrive on Bornholm by ferry from Ystad, Sweden. While you could get around by bike or public bus, it's probably best to have a car.
