Description Suggest change

Blockgrat is situated next to Falkenwand and is one of the best parts of Battert. Moreover, it boasts the most classic climb of the area, "Blockgrat," a two pitch UIAA 4+ (YDS ~5.4) route that sees you ascend a small tower, then stem over to the main wall with nothing but 30 meters of air below you. This is the most photogenic route of them all. Get here early before or mid week! Otherwise you'll be waiting in line.

17 routes overall with a good mix of easy and moderate.

Coming from the Ebersteinburg parking lot, find the "Einsiedlerpfad" sign, painted on the rock and then head back right but upwards to the base. Takes 2 minutes tops from the Unterer Felsweg.
