Description
The right end of the Main Face is where you'll arrive when the approach meets the cliff proper. You'll know when you get here, as the scrappy short cliffs give way to a much larger shield of black rock that's maybe 50 yards wide. The first route at Beaver Brook was opened here in 2003, Good to the Last Drop, and is the first line you'll see when you arrive at the wall.
The left end, aka The Pump Factor is where a rash of new development broke out in the fall of 2024, and is a 3 minute traverse left along the wall. That's where you'll find the light gray overhanging rock and a real solid forearm pump.
Getting There
Park at Hardy Road pull off (for mtn biking trails) in Wilmington. Head west on the trail for .3 of a mile until you see a cairn on your right. Turn right and have a light stroll through a pleasant grassy hardwood/cedar forest. As you head uphill, stay right of the talus filled gully until you reach the cliff band, and then follow the cliff band as it gets taller and more impressive. It's a very easy 15-20 minute hike.
