Description Suggest change

Parker Mountain is a local hiking area in Strafford, NH. It is home to some quality boulder problems and some decent trad lines, as well as some horrible loose ones too. Areas on Parker Mountain are spread out and may not be super easy to find. A series of vague maps exist to guide (or further confuse you).

Most developed problems exist uphill from the main hiking trail (the right side), though a few problems exist below it.
Our attempts to document areas and guide you to them will likely be frivolous, and you will have to discover many of them for yourself.

Getting There Suggest change

From Center Strafford take Rt.126 towards Barnstead, and when you come up the first massive hill, look for a dirt parking lot on the left. Park here.

Alternatively to reach the back side's boulder field, take a 4-wheel drive vehicle all the way to the end of Evan's Mountain Rd and use google maps (satellite) to guide you towards the dotted rock-looking spots below the mountain.
