Access Issue: Falcon Nesting Closure at Castle Rock Details

Description

The biggest rock at the bottom of the canyon. This rock has high foot traffic from both day hikers and stoners alike so don't leave stuff laying around on top.

Getting There

I climbed Bridge of Sighs at Mammoth Rock today.

I recorded my GPS track for getting there if you want to see the exact path:

drive.google.com/open?id=1n…

Instructions for getting there:

From 1700 Castle Rock Road (the parking lot past the high school/the horse barns), follow the main road onto Stage Road Trail. Shortly before trail marker 10, veer left into a creek bed and up the trail there. Keep going until you see a crag with a cave high up in the rock to find Mammoth Rock. Oct 22, 2017
