Description
Rumored to be one of the best walls, so far, at the MFRP. The wall is stacked with great rock, features and many great 5.11s and 5.12s. The wall gets some morning sun and shade in the afternoon and evening.
Getting There
From the main parking area with the wooden kiosk, cross the river on the footbridge and walk the main road to a signed road intersection that points left to Serenity Point and right to the Highlands/Corner Pocket areas. Stay right (on the main road) at this intersection and hike the road until it crosses the river again. Cross the river on a downed log and continue up the road as it goes up a steep hill. Keep hiking the road after it flattens out and eventually gets steeper again as the road narrows. Keep an eye out for the wall and a trail on your left as you go up this steep hill. Take the trail left to the base of the wall. Trail deposits you more or less at the base of the obvious corner/crack trad route “Hourglass Crack” (5.10d).
