Description
South facing crag (bakes in the sun). Amazing crack climbing on featured columnar basalt. Lots of moderates and harder stuff. Well bolted anchors.Little is know about many of the existing routes. We have renamed some routes for convenience. As more information becomes available, we will give credit where due.
Getting There
From Guadalajara, head towards San Cristobal de la Baranca on highway 23. At kilometer marker 27, turn left at the fork, and follow this road for 4 kilometers. Drive past a prickly pear farm on the right and park near the entrance to another dirt road that heads up and left (has a barbed wire gate). Western rules apply here: If the gate is closed, close it behind you. If its open, leave it that way. The land owner, Don Alvaro is friendly and welcomes climbers, so please treat the place with respect.
