Getting There
Forest Hill Park is on the South side of the James River located off of 41st and 42nd Street between Riverside Drive and Forrest Hill Avenue. Parking for the boulders can be found 2 places:
1) Park at the Stone House on 41st St. From there, hike across the field and down the hill to meet up with the asphalt trail heading East toward the creek. Follow the mountain bike trail as it cuts off to the right. When the MTB trail cuts across the creek, head downstream on the slab.
2) Park in the Main parking lot on 42nd St. From there hike down to the lake on the dirt MTB trail or the paved road. When you get to the lake, head to the right (south). You'll first reach the Figurehead Wall on the right of the paved path. Continue until you reach the bridge over the creek. The rest of the bouldering is upstream starting with the Crow's Nest boulder.
