Description Suggest change

Really fun and requires some technique. great warm-up! Use the arete and the sidepulls to the left. (Start on the arete, then work out left)

Location Suggest change

Located to the right of "The Perfect Zero".

Coordinates for the figurehead wall: 37.5179108, -77.4733034

Getting to the figurehead wall:

Park at the main parking lot off 42nd street. Park anywhere available. There are two trails that will get you to where you're going. Both are on the south side of the parking lot.

If you take the westernmost path, closest to the entrance of the park, proceed down a short staircase, then turn left (east) on the paved forest hill park loop. Once you arrive at the lake, turn right (south) and continue along the paved forest hill park loop trail. The wall is clearly visible on the right (west) side of the paved path a few hundred feet down the path. The wall is no more than 20-30 feet from the paved path.

The easternmost (farthest from the parking lot entrance) path is a steep, brick-paved path. Follow it down to where it meets the paved forest hill park loop trail. Head south along the forest hill park loop. The wall will be clearly visible on the right(west) side of the paved path a few hundred feet down. The wall is no more than 20-30 feet from the paved path.
