Description
North most of the Wine Spires and closest to Burgundy Col. Paisano is often overlooked because it appears much shorter than the other spires.
Paisano gets sun all afternoon and drys quickly after a storm. Often teams will link a route on Paisano with the north face of Burgundy Spire for a classic link-up route offering many pitches of excellent, clean climbing.
Getting There
Approach from the pull off at MP 166 of WA20. Follow the climbers trail, which is quite steep, up to a bench at 6500 ft. Teams will often camp here and fresh water can be found at a spring close to camp (48.55485, -120.60357).
From bench camp, take the trail SE towards Burgundy Col. About 750ft out of camp, take a trail that heads climbers right across slabs and head towards the tower.
