Concentrated boulders that sit below Elk Slabs on the south side of Charons Garden Wilderness area.

Getting There Suggest change

Park at the Treasure Lake parking lot on the south side of Charons Garden area. Elk slabs are visible from the parking lot, begin hiking in general direction until reaching a creek. Split slightly right across creek bringing very close to Post Oak Falls. Continue towards elk slabs in drainage until you reach a large boulder on the left side of the Trail. This is the first boulder in the Wapiti Bouldering area, with the best boulder in the area a one minute hike continuing on the trail.

Rhyan atop "The Gilligan Boulder". Host to multiple problems in the v-hard range, all highball. Red project revolves around the very first move. Matched in a bad slot the boulder becomes overhung and a large move or jump to a rail follows. The yellow project is an awesome rail on the arete that will take some hold finding on the face for balance with a very tall top out. The ground gets higher under the yellow project making the fall potentially not as bad.
