Description

A fine wall of steep and compact granite, located conveniently close to the village. Essential ticks are Wolfman Jack and Venus Flytrap. Non tidal.

Getting There

About 100m North of the Old Light, locate a large rocky ridge heading out to sea - Sunset Wall. Descend the grassy slopes just to the North of this, then head left (facing out) to a good, flat ledge below boulders. This is directly above the finish of Venus Flytrap, at the South end of the wall. Routes are accessed by abseil (approximately 40m) from the boulders.

The wall can be viewed from the top of Alpine buttress, further North.
