The East Face of Outguard Spire gets sun throughout the morning and goes into the shade around lunch time. The area can be windy. Duh! The route doesn't protect you much from the wind. Bring a sweater at least if you are climbing in the afternoon. If it is sunny and very little wind, then lighter clothes will be fine.
No crowds.
The rock quality was solid until the top pitch.
