Description

This is a nice boulder on a sunny day, it has shade and is right on the creek. The rock quality varies, but is pretty good once clean. A lot of boulders near the creek can be pretty sandy, but this one is good and has everything from crimps to slopers.

Getting There

From US Hwy 50, follow CO-141 about 3.8 miles. Park at a large paved pulloff to right. From there, it is just a short walk straight downhill.

The neighboring cottonwood tree fell on the boulder. Any climbing of the north-facing problems will likely require pruning. Dec 20, 2017
