Moody Tiger Bay Rock Climbing

IF YOU ARE GOING TO DEEP WATER SOLO CHECK THE TIDE INFORMATION OR YOU MAY GO WHEN YOU CAN'T DWS!

You should check that high tide will happen between 10 am and 4 pm and it should be a peaking tide with a wide swing in depth. It can be weeks between times that it is right to DWS in Ha Long Bay so don't think if you were coming for two weeks you'll be ok. It could even be a month. Be safe; talk to SloPony and check the tide charts.

Ha Long Bay is a huge area. I made up the term Moody Tiger Bay to separate this area. Moody Tiger Bay is the space between Moody Beach and Tiger Beach. From a boat in the "Moody Tiger Bay" you can access the roped climbing on Moody Beach and Tiger Beach and the a few deep water soloing areas. Some areas may also require a kayak to access the climbing.
