Secon Pis Esquerra is Catalan for "Second Floor Left"

This area is on the south side of Montserrat. It is a good area for climbing in the winter. In the winter it has sun starting around noon lasting until just before sunset. The area tend not to be windy. The rock quality is good, however some of the new routes still have pieces breaking off. It is also possible for people hiking above you to kick down rocks.

Getting There

The approach is about 40 minutes. Near the top the trail gets a little hard to follow. The key is that near the top you need to transition into the gully. There is rope with knots to help you make the transition.
