Description

The cliff is located on top of Rand Mt in New Durham, NH. Cliff ranges from 30-70 feet. Boulders litter the surrounding area.

Getting There

Park at the Ellis R Hatch/Jones Brook Conservation area on Kings Highway (153). Walk up the gated road to a culvert. Hike left into the woods at the culvert and pick up faint logging road which leads to a climbers trail. Follow up and left to a tree blaze. Follow the blaze up hill and follow the climbers trail left again at a cairn. Brings you to the base of the cliff. Total hike 20-30 min.

Shane is right, my suggestion, go with someone who has been there.I went on an epic adventure today. One and a half hours later I found the cliff. First I couldn't find the trail head then I decided to bush whack.....oops.I ended up 0.2 miles east of the cliff at the base of a small cliff with some potential. Here is were a normal man would give up but I said no way i came this far in the rain I might as well keep going.I found it,good thing I own a GPS.So the moral of this story is,go with someone who knows.
