Access Issue: Climbing Regulations/Seasonal Raptor Closures Details

The Joshua Tree National Park Superintendent's Compendium states that:
1. Vegetation is not allowed to be used as an anchor.
2. Only neutral or rock colored bolt hangers are allowed.

Description

This secluded wall is shady throughout most of the day, as it is NE facing.

Getting There

This formation is difficult to find. From the main Wonderland Valley, walk past Lenticular Dome and follow the wash, until another wash intersects from the right. Follow that wash, which is marked by a large buttress to the left of the wash, and you will eventually find a cliff on your left which may or may not be The Sanctuary. Falkor's Digs is the next formation you will encounter along this wash, and it is also on the left side of the wash. The routes are not easily visible until you are scrambling out of the wash towards the NE face of the formation.
