Description

One of the most famous cliffs in England the Devil's Slide provides the best slab climbing in the country. The slab provides excellent climbing at surprisingly moderate grades, however you'll need confidence to tackle the climbs.

The Blocks at the bottom of the slide can be reached mid-tide and below. At high tide, it's possible to traverse in at a break about 8m up the slab. If there's a bit swell going, you're best off starting from the halfway break - the waves can wash a long way up the slab! Sep 24, 2012
