Access Issue: Climbing Regulations/Seasonal Raptor Closures Details

The Joshua Tree National Park Superintendent's Compendium states that:
1. Vegetation is not allowed to be used as an anchor.
2. Only neutral or rock colored bolt hangers are allowed.

Description

This small block has a nice collection of easy problems on mostly good rock with a level base. An easy descent is found on the slabby east side of the boulder.

Getting There

Approach from the large gravel lot near Echo Tee and hike east following a marked trail past the southern end of Echo Rock and The Gumdrop and head for the southern side of Mounds to the east.
