Access Issue: Climbing Regulations/Seasonal Raptor Closures Details

The Joshua Tree National Park Superintendent's Compendium states that:
1. Vegetation is not allowed to be used as an anchor.
2. Only neutral or rock colored bolt hangers are allowed.

Description

Similar to the Four Corners Boulder at Cap Rock but taller with an engaging collection of problems. The easiest descent is down the East Corner problem.

Getting There

Hike east from the large paved parking lot near Echo Tee following a trail which leads around the backside of the first large formation (Echo Rock) where this block sits alone below the east face.
