Access Issue: RAIN, WET ROCK and RAPTOR CLOSURES: The sandstone around Moab is fragile and is very easily damaged when it is wet. Also please ask and be aware of Raptor Closures in areas such as CAT WALL and RESERVOIR WALL in Indian Creek Details

Description

This covers the area to the south of the Moab Rim ORV trail and hiking path. It is Wingate, looking down on the river and the Portal.

Getting There

Drive out Kane Springs Blvd. to the parking area and BLM toilets along the river. Follow the transmission fluid drippings and skid marks until just past the pillar (note what it looks like in the foto). Work your way up the bench on the left then across to the base.
