Description
Rhythm is home to a slew of excellent new pitches as well as a few older classics. The lower cliff is full of short but awesome moderates in all styles while the upper wall is loaded with atypically steep lines for Index. Both are worth the trip. Can be combined with the Blues Cliff or Mid Wall for an excellent day of cragging. More potential awaits...
Getting There
Take the UTW trail to the left at the signed fork for Blues/Rhythm/Mid walls. Wander along the path for 5 minutes until you see a signed turn off on the right for Rhythm Cliff (just before the left turn for Blues Cliff). The lower wall is sparkly clean and visible from the trail. For the upper wall either walk up and left from the new lines or continue along the Mid Wall trail until you turn right past a scrubbed lowball boulder and climb under a huge fallen snag. A faint trail leads directly uphill to the wall after this. The upper wall is clearly visible up and left from the base of the lower wall.
