Description

A 150-200' cone-shaped peak in Stewart Pocket. It has mostly great rock and nice views. There are a couple of great routes on it, but it still has a lot of new route potential.

Getting There

From the parking area at the end of the road, cross the drainage and take the main trail roughly west for about 1/2 mile towards the obvious dome. When you are just below the NE face, turn left at a cairn and hike/bushwack up a faint, intermittent climbers trail to the base. Please try to stay on the trail as much as possible.

The road ends 1/4 mile before the ranch and big wash. The so-called "Stewart Peak" crag is not visible from this point. I say so-called because it is not marked on the USGS topo map. Sep 3, 2012

I "so-called" it that for lack of a name. What would you call it? Not that I 'm calling it anything else. Jan 16, 2018
