HUMAN WASTE Human waste is one of the major issues plaguing Red Rocks. The Las Vegas Climbers Liaison Council and the AAC provides free "wag bags" in several locations (Black Velvet, First Pullout, Kraft Mtn/Bouldering, The Gallery, and The Black Corridor). These bags are designed so that you can pack your waste out - consider bringing one to be part of your kit (just like your rope and shoes and lunch) no matter where you go. Once used, please dispose of them properly (do not throw them in the toilets at the parking area).
Description
The Circus Wall bakes in the sun from late morning until later afternoon and is low and protected from some of the weather. Far from being secluded, it gets its name from the human circus going on behind you at the parking lot while you are climbing. Along with Dog Wall, this is among the most prominent and nearby crags to the first pull-out. The rock is average quality for the Calico Hills, and the climbs are starting to cleanup with the additional traffic in the past few years. All climbs are now safely bolted and have anchors. The wall is now a great alternative to the Dog Wall if that cliff is crowded, along with having several stellar climbs of it's own.
