The McGee Creek Natural Scenic Area is an 8900 acre recreation area. There are 2 climbing areas. The scenic overlook bluff is bouldering and some top roping. There are more boulders out by the South Rim. Access is unknown as we practice a "Don't Ask, Don't Tell" policy here.
Getting There
From Atoka, OK.
Take Hwy 3 East from Atoka, OK to Centerpoint Road. Centerpoint is east of the entrance to McGee Creek State Park. There's a sign for McGee Creek NRA, but it's kind of hidden so watch for it on the North side of Hwy 3. The trail head is north of the ranger station.
Do not go to the State Park...there are no rocks there.
