The "maxima" boulder is a large boulder most easily identified by the obvious arete facing the gap you walk through to get to it.
This is one of the proudest and aesthetic boulders found in the bluefield boulderfield. the lines on the maxima boulder are clean, obvious and captivating.
This boulder can be reached by walking past the speakeasy wall, turning right and walking between the "gap" or "pass" formed between the "speakeasy wall" and the "tavern wall".

Getting There Suggest change

walk through the gap between speakeasy and tavern walls. it is the boulder that's arete is facing you in the middle of the gap.
