Lost Flake
Jul 2, 2026 · Lead / Onsight. Felt good climbing this day. I screwed up extending the wrong clip, so I undid it after downclimbing, doing a bit of on-the-fly problem solving, then got back on. A bit of route finding above the roof led to me saying "sick" several times, usually a good sign.

The Road Less Traveled
Jun 29, 2026 · Lead / Redpoint. With a bit of beta knowledge and confidence I was able to for the send, sloppily. In the lower crack I placed a 2 and a 1 for extra security. Both are good but Mores rock is a bit iffy sometimes so two never hurts. A small cam around the 0.5-0.75 range can protect against groundfall while clipping the first bolt, ideally extended. After that it's a short crux rockover sequence into a squeeze slab to the anchor. Very physical but also a bit delicate even while straining. Like most Mores routes I've encountered, odd and unusual, definitely interesting.

The Road Less Traveled
Jun 29, 2026 · TR. Yo-yo off the second bolt. I was scared when I saw the distance to the last bolt. The climbing isn't hard from there but it is delicate and nervy.

The Long and Winding Road
Jun 29, 2026 · TR. Very good route, pumpy and consistent after the first section. A good combination of technical movement and good old hard pulling on crystals. There are good holds scattered around, though often good foot beta is what makes them work well.

Tilt
Jun 28, 2026 · 1 pitch. Follow. Decent climbing on good holds with some fun arete use. We accessed it from the ledge to the right. Two rappels got us down easily.

Sexual Underground
May 27, 2026 · Lead / Redpoint. With beta it wasn't bad, but I backclipped the first bolt and it only got worse from there. My PAS got wrapped around the rope at the fourth bolt, so, while locking off on a small edge on my right, I unclipped the PAS, unwrapped it, reclipped, and kept climbing. Then I nearly forgot the next clip but for the boys calling up to me. Embarrassing stuff, but it went in messy fashion as is characteristic for me.
