Climbed alot in the early 90s, but I was never really a natural.

I mostly climbed at Joshua Tree, Suicide/Tahquitz, Woodson, with the occasional trip to Red Rocks and/or Owens. I earned my stripes through the use and understanding of stoppers and hexes. Cams made me cooler but not necessarily a better climber. I admit, I didn't understand the incredible value of TCUs until much too late....

These days I still love finding areas of JTree that I didn't visit back then. When I see a bolt or crack, I have am stirred by the insatiable desire to find out what it is.............................
