Does anyone know where I can find information for climbs here? I've only found one guide book from 2001 so far and I'm pretty sure there's been new routes developed here since then. May 30, 2018

So I went ahead and bought the 2001 guide book, Islands in the Sky. Since I want to tick off some climbs here and convince others to climb here with me, I'm going to add all of the information from the guidebook to this page in the coming days. Since all of this info is from 2001, take it with a grain of salt and keep in mind that there could be new routes, different conditions, new types of bolts, etc. in these areas. I also have not climbed here yet so all of the star ratings are from the guidebook. Lastly, if anyone wants to climb here starting in September, please shoot me a message! Thank you. Jun 15, 2018

I would like to clarify my reasoning for adding information to this page since this was brought up in another thread. The Islands in the Sky guidebook is OUT OF PRINT and no longer sold by Rockfax. In order to buy it, you'll either have to track down one of the few remaining copies at a local store somewhere or pay too much online for it (people are selling used copies on Amazon for $80!!!!). As for me, I just want to climb here and find other people who want to climb here also. I am not taking credit for any of the route ascents, names, or descriptions. As I stated in an earlier comment, all credit goes to the authors of the Island in the Sky guidebook (Randy Leavitt wrote the Clark Mountain chapter of it for anyone who wants to know). If there is a new guidebook coming out and/ or Randy Leavitt takes issue with this page then by all means inbox me and I will edit and/ or delete content. In the meantime, I'm still looking for climbing partners for this area in the fall so if these routes interest you, please message me. Jun 16, 2018

No problem dude. Jun 16, 2018
This place is better off not being on mountain project in my opinion. You should have climbed there first anyway before posting anything and at least made your descriptions. There isn't much room up there for parking anyways, 4 spots max. Jun 18, 2018

UPDATE: It's been brought to my attention that access to Clark Mountain is currently a sensitive issue due to it being in the Mojave National Preserve so I've removed all of the information from this page. Sorry for any confusion that this has caused. Jun 19, 2018
