Looking through MP's listing and descriptions of climbs in the Avalanche Pass area of the High Peaks region of the Adirondacks and seeing only four (3) climbs listed in area with perhaps 30 climbs and a general scarcity of useful information prompted this letter to the managers of MP, which correspondence I reproduce here.

Why is Jim Lawyer, the author of the most recent Adirondack rock climbing guide book, the site administrator for this region on MP? It would seem a clear conflict of interest and is evidenced by the lack of useful description found in the MP areas he manages.
I've no problem with Jim upholding his protected publication, but why aren't independent climbers publishing their descriptions obtained by their first hand observations in the forum he manages?
