Description

P1- Start on a large ledge that tapers into a crack. Continue up the crack system using knobs and occasional jams with optional small gear in a crack on the left. Finish on a ledge at a 2 bolt anchor with quick links. 5.6, 15 meters.

P2- Crux. Go left from the anchor to clip a bolt and step up the bulge on good knobs. Follow the knobs along the black streak clipping bolts until you reach a crack. Follow the crack using it for protection until it ends. Then, step left to gain another crack and continue to a nice ledge with a 2 bolt anchor with quick links. 5.9, 25 meters, 5 bolts.

P3- Continue up and slightly right from the anchor following a faint water streak on low angle rock with knobs to the summit ledge. Finish at a 2 bolt anchor with quick links. 5.4 PG-13, 15 meters, 3 bolts.

Descent- Rappel route or walk off on a long ledge system to the climbers left, staying high and descending slowly/traversing for the easiest descent.

The second pitch of the route climbs a black streak just left of the dark black streak on Black Widow. Look for the streak/bolts and find the crack that heads up directly to them.

The starting ledge is comfortable to stand on but a leader fall before getting gear in would rip the team off to the ledges below. Consider early gear or a small anchor in the crack at the base.
