Access Issue: Echo Canyon Seasonal Closure: Jan. 1 - second Saturday in April (and sometimes longer)
Details
The Echo Canyon climbing areas are located within the Henefer-Echo Wildlife Management Area. The Utah Division of Wildlife Resources closes all access to the WMA each year from January 1 to the second Saturday in April (and sometimes longer) to protect wintering wildlife.
Description
Start on JJ Memorial, climbing the opening sequence. Clip the first 2 (or 3) bolts on JJ then trend up and right into the Pit Hammer extension. After clipping the right anchor of Graffiti continue into the delicate traverse on small holds. Finish by following Way Hammered to its anchors.
