Access Issue: Echo Canyon Seasonal Closure: Jan. 1 - second Saturday in April Details

Description

As you climb, it meanders slightly left and the harder moves are near clip 2. The whole route is about 20m in total. Although it is pretty much all cobblestone, it may be identified by a small section of sandstone in the lower-middle portion of the route.

Location

The third route after the little grove of trees.

Belay begins on the trail to the right of all of "Something Must Break".

The crux seemed to be getting through the section above bolt 2. If you blow the 3rd clip, you will very likely hit a ledge (hence my pg13 rating). Cool moves though, getting up to and past bolt 3. Apr 26, 2018

Heady first two bolts! Keep your eyes peeled during the tricky moves up to and past the BIG sandstone undercling. Jun 4, 2018

A little tenuous and thin getting to the first bolt--stick clip recommended if you're not rock solid at the grade. Oct 13, 2018
